Twice Baked Potatoes

I haven't ever tried this so if you try it let me know . I thought it sounded delicious.
10 potatoes boiled and mashed
1/2 cup butter melted
scant tsp grated onion
1 cup hot milk
8 oz Philly cream cheese
3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
(save some cheese for topping)
Mix and bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Now doesn't that sound good!

Hey cool; so it worked for you to log in!

These sound much easier than the twice baked ones I used to do! I had to bake the potato, scoop out the filling, mash it all up and spoon it back into the potato to bake. Your's sounds much easier and yummier!

I don't cook much anymore but I wish you well. I am sure it will be fun.
Tonight I did cook. I fixed Paula Deen's country-fried steak in gravy (it was delicious), and her light fluffy rolls made in muffin cups. They were delicious, too. And so easy. Just right for the two of us!!
Summer is coming so I will be reading you for some summer treats!!
Much love, Betty G

Hi, Paula Deen is a southern cook and I am from the south, but her country-fried steak is cooked with brown gravy. Now that is new to me,it has always been country gravy spooned over. But, I do think the brown gravy was better, it simmered together for about a half an hour.
We can learn new things all the time.
So, your blog will keep you busy, keeping ahead of some of the good cooks out there.
I do wish you the best and lots and lots of enjoyment.
See you, Betty G
